Keynote Speaker
Each year, the History Graduate Student Association has invited a noted speaker to come to the UM campus. The purpose of the event is to foster professional development among the University of Maryland’s graduate students while also providing a platform for intellectual exchange that would include students from other departments at the University of Maryland, and from other universities and academic institutions in the Washington, DC area. Admission is open to the general student body, both graduate and undergraduate students, and there is no admission charge.
